Okay, whether you spent the past 21 Days reading my Weight Loss Motivational blog or occasionally took a peek and used them and the adjoining videos as a crutch to change habits, eat better and review your Health and Wellness priorities, it was a great start. As I wind down these daily messages, I want to encourage you to continue your improved lifestyle and consider renewing or keeping the goals you set during these past weeks. Goals and established action steps provide the strength to fight temptation and overindulgence. Clear reachable goals provide a pathway for success. But be wary of a few things:
Depression is common when folks diet and lose weight slower than they anticipated. Depression happens when your body turns toxic as it dumps junk from their overextended cells into the liver and out the system. Depression is often a side effect of frustration when inches are slow to decrease and the scale seems to break after a few days. So, be aware of this and if you get a bit down, read your goals and realize that it took time to get in your condition and will take a time to get out, the journey in between may be a bit tougher than you thought.
Slip and Slide. Not unusual to cheat a bit and find that one weak moment adds to another. This slip and slide behavior is part of the journey and anticipating it will help stifle to negative energy it creates. Rather than browbeating yourself, pick yourself up and get back on track. As I mentioned before, a clear goal and purpose, one towards Health and Wellness not just a few less inches will carry the day.
So, as we go down the stretch it behooves you to see the bigger picture, the real reason you want to lose weight. Each individual’s purpose will vary as it may be lowering your cholesterol, decreasing your blood sugar, lowering your blood pressure, stifling the ravages of auto immune conditions and reducing your joint pain. Losing weight, eating proper foods and eliminating sugars and high glycemic foods provide these healthy outcomes without pills, potions and creams.
So, keep up the good work and it never stops as monitoring your habits and eating well is a non stop endeavor.
